Three of my works will be on display at the Bankhead Theater Gallery for "Creative Rhythm".

A colorful mix of mediums, styles, and color palettes will demonstrate visual beauty through the creation of rhythm as part of a new exhibit in the Gallery at the Bankhead Theater. “Creative Rhythm” features works of photography, acrylics, oils, watercolors and collage which show ballerinas and fire dancers, as well as the nature’s beauty and pure abstractions of light and color. Curated by the Bothwell Arts Center, “Creative Rhythm” will be on display at the Bankhead Theater Gallery from May 3 through June 26, 2017.

An Artists’ Reception for “Creative Rhythm” will be held Saturday, May 20th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Free and open to the public, the reception provides an opportunity to admire the works and meet some of the artists. The afternoon event will feature two forms of another rhythmic art form: dance. Special guests Condanza will perform in the lobby, demonstrating a vibrant rhythm of movement that is a perfect tribute to the exhibit’s art. Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments and wine.

Part of the Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center, the Visitor’s Center and Gallery is located in the lobby of the Bankhead Theater at 2400 First Street, Livermore, and is open seven days a week from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free. Select works on display during the exhibit are available for purchase.
